Dubai honeymoon: plan, visa basics and must-dos

City lights, a night in the desert and a day in Abu Dhabi, planned for two.

5N/6D plan

• Day 1: Arrive. Evening dhow dinner cruise at Dubai Marina.
• Day 2: City tour, Burj Khalifa At the Top and the Dubai Fountain show.
• Day 3: Slow morning, then desert safari: dune drive, camel ride and BBQ dinner.
• Day 4: Abu Dhabi day trip: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the corniche.
• Day 5: Palm Jumeirah, beach time or shopping.
• Day 6: Fly home.

Visa basics for Indians

• Most Indian passport holders need a UAE visit visa before travel. We help you apply.
• Some travellers with a valid US visa or green card, or certain residence permits, can get a visa on arrival. We check your eligibility before booking.
• Passport valid for at least 6 months. Keep your return ticket and hotel booking handy.

Must-do list for couples

• Burj Khalifa at sunset (a sunset time slot costs extra, book early).
• Dubai Fountain show from the promenade.
• Desert safari with dinner under the stars.
• Dhow cruise at the Marina.
• Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
• An evening walk at the Palm or a beach club day.

Good to know

• Best months: November to March. Summer (June to September) is very hot.
• Grand Mosque dress code: arms and legs covered; women cover their hair.
• Hotels charge a small Tourism Dirham fee per room per night, paid at the hotel.
• Our Dubai Honeymoon (5N/6D) is priced on request. GST included, TCS extra. TCS (Tax Collected at Source) is added to overseas tour packages as per Income Tax rules. You can claim it back in your income tax return.
